Mr. Pius Okigbo Jnr, Chief Executive Officer of InfoSoft Nigeria Limited and Chairman, Sectoral Working Group (SWG) of the Nigerian Content Consultative Forum on Information and Communications Technologies (NCCF-ICT) would chair the 2022 TechTV Digital Agenda Forum, it has been revealed.
Mr. Don Pedro Aganbi, Managing Partner, TechTV Network, noted that Mr. Okigbo’s consent to Chair the crowd puller annual event is indeed an endorsement of the objectives and ideals of the TechTV Digital Agenda Forum which is meant to engender further growth of Nigeria’s Tech ecosystem and indeed ICT market, through the provision of a platform for constructive dialogue and opportunity to network and to influence policy.
According to Mr. Aganbi, “With the theme ““2023 & Beyond – The Convergence Mix: AI, loT, 5G, Cybersecurity, Blockchain & Renewable Energy” the forum will afford participants ample opportunities to dialogue and review the sector in 2022 and chart a course for the incoming year
He stated that “Organisations that seek to compete in today’s super-dynamic marketplace are quickly realising the importance of a comprehensive Digital Transformation business model that incorporates diverse technologies across various spectrums and how to navigate the future-of-work, future-of-integration, connected digital experience, data management, and digital innovation strategies.
The veteran Tech broadcaster argued, “We believe it is imperative to continue to encourage the development of robust, reliable and affordable ICT infrastructure particularly of the sort that will drive the convergence and availability of 5G, Artificial Intelligence (AI) Internet of Things (loT) and Renewable Energy for the sustenance of the sector”.
Aganbi noted that One of the key objectives of the TechTV Digital Agenda Forum is to enable the country to take stock of the progress made in the implementation of the digital economy, take essential learnings, engage relevant policies, explore gains towards achieving sustainable development goals and promote the agenda for the projection of digital technology for the common good.
The event is a veritable platform for the Industry to x-ray the successes, Innovations, Issues, challenges, breakthroughs, Trends, Forecast and chart a course for the incoming year 2023.
In addition, it is a great opportunity for networking and forging strategic partnerships amongst key stakeholders in the sector.
Pius Okigbo (Jr) is the CEO of Infosoft Nigeria Limited. He has over 33 years’ experience in the field of Information Technology. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Kent State University in Ohio, USA and has worked variously for many companies locally and abroad.
His experience covers the areas of Strategic Information Systems Planning (SISP), Systems selection, Systems development, Networking, Disaster Recovery, Business Process Re-engineering and Programming using various languages such as Informix, Access, ICBA, SQL-server, Visual Basic and ICON Author to mention a few. He specializes in constructing enterprise data warehouses with business intelligence, business process management with six sigma and software services on NET platforms. Pius is a regular paper presenter especially in the areas of ‘Improving business performance using Six Sigma.
He has been involved in several World Bank projects; acting as consultant to Skoup and Co Ltd. He is a licensed MS Software training provider, Licensed NT Training provider as well as a licensed Groupware Computing solutions provider.
