Okeowo Aderemi Wins Outstanding Software Developer of the Year at Titans of Tech Awards

Okeowo Aderemi has been named Outstanding Software Developer of the Year (2023) at the prestigious Titans of Tech Awards, held in Lagos.

The annual event, which gathers key players across Africa’s technology ecosystem, celebrates innovation and excellence in ICT, bringing together leaders from enterprise, government, and academia.

Aderemi was recognized for his significant contributions to the software development ecosystem, including his work in building scalable digital solutions across industries. The award citation, presented by convener Don Pedro Aganbi, highlighted his technical expertise, innovation, and sustained impact.

Speaking after receiving the award, Aderemi expressed appreciation for the recognition, noting that it serves as motivation to continue contributing to Africa’s growing tech landscape.

It’s proof that the work we do—often behind the scenes, late at night, and without recognition—truly matters and is shaping the future in ways we may not always see immediately.” He said

A senior full-stack software engineer and platform integration specialist, Aderemi has over a decade of experience spanning web, mobile, and enterprise development. He is the founder of Retani Consults and has worked with organizations such as Andela and Interswitch Group.
