With a renewed vision for a digitally inclusive and innovation-powered economy, Ministers Dr. Bosun Tijani (Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy) and Uche Nnaji (Innovation, Science and Technology) spearheaded nationwide reforms that touched on digital infrastructure, cybersecurity, identity systems, scientific research, and startup support.

In May 2025, the Universal Service Provision Fund (USPF) launched the USPF Impact Alliance, deploying:

NASRDA fast-tracked satellite replacements and is preparing the first Nigerian in space (with Blue Origin). With NGN20 billion in funding, it launched its licensing framework in May 2025.
