Muhammed Rudman is a veteran technology infrastructure professional and one of the influential voices shaping Nigeria’s digital connectivity ecosystem.

As Chief Executive Officer of the Internet eXchange Point of Nigeria (IXPN), Nigeria’s first and only neutral Internet Exchange Point, Rudman sits at the heart of efforts to strengthen local internet interconnection, improve network efficiency and build a more resilient digital infrastructure ecosystem.

A former President of the Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NiRA), the organisation responsible for the .ng domain registry, Rudman has played a significant role in the evolution of Nigeria’s internet governance and digital infrastructure landscape.

He has also served as the DNS Administrator contact for Nigeria.
With more than 19 years of professional experience spanning network design, implementation, optimisation and operations, Rudman brings deep technical expertise and strategic industry perspective to the development of Nigeria’s digital economy.

His influence extends beyond corporate leadership. Rudman is Chairman of the Nigeria IPv6 Council, a chapter of the global IPv6 Forum, where he leads efforts to advance IPv6 adoption, awareness, best practices and knowledge-sharing across Nigeria.

He has also served on several strategic and policy-making committees, contributing his expertise to national conversations around digital infrastructure and connectivity.

He is a member of the National Broadband Council, which is responsible for evaluating, reviewing and monitoring the implementation of Nigeria’s National Broadband Plan.

An active participant in professional and industry organisations in Nigeria and internationally, Rudman continues to champion stronger digital infrastructure, deeper ecosystem collaboration and a more connected Nigeria.
