Africa Sustainability Forum 2026 Gains Momentum as NCC, NDPC, FBRA and MTN Nigeria Join Stakeholder Line-Up
The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC), Food and Beverage Recycling Alliance (FBRA) and MTN Nigeria have confirmed participation in the Africa Sustainability Forum 2026, reinforcing a growing coalition of regulators, businesses and sustainability leaders committed to advancing green growth, digital transformation, circular economy and shared prosperity across Africa.
The Africa Sustainability Forum 2026 continues to gather momentum as the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC), Food and Beverage Recycling Alliance (FBRA), and MTN Nigeria have confirmed their participation in the high-level sustainability gathering scheduled for October 20, 2026, at Oriental Hotel, Lagos.
Their participation further strengthens an expanding coalition of regulators, corporate organisations, sustainability advocates, development institutions and policymakers committed to advancing practical solutions for sustainable development across Africa.
The Forum, themed “Sustainable Futures: Driving Just Transitions, Green Growth & Shared Prosperity,” will provide a strategic platform for stakeholders to examine the policies, investments, innovations and partnerships required to accelerate Africa's transition towards more sustainable, inclusive and resilient economies.
The inclusion of the NCC brings important perspectives on sustainable digital infrastructure, connectivity and the role of technology in enabling economic growth. The NDPC contributes critical expertise on data governance, privacy and trust, increasingly recognised as foundational pillars of a sustainable digital economy.
